No One Has Ever Become Poor By Giving!

Sansthaapak Ka Parichay

Worship Committee

I, Babulal Singh, completed my B.A. from Allahabad University in 2004. After that, I came to Delhi to pursue higher studies. Here, I completed my M.A. and B.Ed., and simultaneously started preparing for competitive examinations (Civil Services). In 2012, after starting the Teacher’s Studio (Classroom Study), I got deeply engaged in managing it. One day, a girl student came to me. She was completely different from the image I had imagined. She came from a very backward and troubled area. I thought she had come to study, but if her life could be improved, she could become an inspiration for society. I provided her coaching for free. That same evening, she called me and said, “Sir, you have changed my life.” Her words touched my heart, and a feeling of social service awakened within me. By God’s grace, that student is now working in a good position and still remembers me. I decided that I must bring many more such children forward. I started teaching with full dedication. During this time, I met Mukesh Sir, who was respected even by IAS officers. I shared my thoughts with him. He said, “If you choose the path of service, I am with you.” With his support, I chose the path of education. My father always wished that I become a high-ranking officer, but I felt that serving society, helping the poor and backward classes, was my true purpose. I decided to provide free education to underprivileged children. Students and parents appreciated this effort. Gradually, the number of students increased greatly, and I continued progressing in this direction. In 2014, I formally registered an NGO named Samajotthan Samiti. The objectives of the committee were — education, social service, women’s safety, assistance to the poor, scholarships, medical support, help for the disabled, elderly care, and building a brighter future for unemployed youth. Today, under the committee, 71 teachers are working, and 71 institutions are being run — including 71 education centers, 1 girls’ education center, 5 computer training centers, 2 English spoken centers, 1 arts center, 1 sports training center, and 1 professional course center (especially for low-income and underprivileged women). In total, 6,410 trainees and students are benefiting from these services.
